The Wardlaw Museum is a museum located on the campus of the University of St Andrews in Scotland. It was established in 1898 and its purpose is to collect, preserve and exhibit art and artifacts related to the history and cultural heritage of the University of St Andrews.
The museum has a collection of more than 6,000 objects, including paintings, sculptures, ceramics, textiles, and rare books and manuscripts. Some of the most notable objects in the collection include a 15th century Book of Hours, a portrait of Mary, Queen of Scots, and a 17th century celestial globe.
The museum also hosts temporary exhibitions and events throughout the year. Admission to the museum is free and it is open to the public from Tuesday to Saturday.
The Wardlaw Museum is named after Henry Wardlaw, a medieval bishop of St Andrews who founded the University of St Andrews in 1413.
